Dear @Fchekh,

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

I am not sure if I understand your situation yet. In generel, the asylum case and the marriage procedure are not connected to eachother. People with "Aufenthaltsgestattung" (still in the asylum process) or with "Duldung" (after a negative decision on the asylum application" can also marry in Germany. We discussed this already a couple of times on this platform. You may want to check this link for more details.

Is it possible that the "Standesamt" (registry office) asked to validate or legalize your documents? This would also not be done by the Ausländerbehörde, I assume, but in the respective embassy, for instance.

Please don't hesitate to get back to us if you want to discuss your case further.

All the best,

Meike

Hello Meike, first of all, thank you for your reply and advice

I have already submitted my all necessary documents at Standesamt, the problem they told me they will tell me after maximum one month for choosing appointment to marry,,, but I have three months right now of waiting,, I sent him email for explain why the delay,, they told me everything is okay with my documents but the problem is Ausländerbehörde they don't answer for the court,,, just I am wandering to contact my lawyer for check why Ausländerbehörde didn't answer, and I can speed the process,,, many thanks
Dear @Fchekh, Thank you very much for your explanations and I am glad to hear that there are no issues with your documents (as missing documents are the hurdle in the majority of the cases regarding the marriage). However, I am still confused about the fact that the "Standesamt" is referring to the Ausländerbehörde and the case in court. Maybe it makes indeed sense to ask your lawyer about this. He might be able to help in getting an appoitment for the marriage. Good luck and please don't hesitate to give us an update or to get back to us with any further questions. All the best, Meike
