Dear @sparo17

Welcome back to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

As this platform and our experts are based in Germany, I am afraid that we are unfortunately not able to share extensive experiences/knowledge on migration issues and questions in Italy.

In general, if you have a valid passport and you have a visa to enter the USA, I don't see a reason (maybe you should also consider current corona-related rules) why you could not travel there.

However, as you are still in the asylum procedure, I assume that the Italian authorities will close your case and you may not be able to enter Italy on that grounds again.

In Germany, asylum-seekers need to stay within the country until the case is finished and they received a residence permit.

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to get back to us with any further questions.

All the best,

Meike
