I have a child with a Polish woman what are the steps to get residence permit

I have a child with an E U member and I have applied for my residence permit, I have submitted all the documented they needed and now they have given me an appointment that i should bring my passport and one biometric pic what does it means?

@Ibrahim, please how long did it take affter application, for Auslander to ask for ur passport a biometric pic?

I would assume that if you submitted all required documents you don’t need to worry. Asking for a passport and a biometric picture is normal for the issuing of a residence permit, as you also can check here, for example.

@Meike, bitte is it possible to be granted a recidence permit in germany if a passport is expired? Due to covid19 many counrty embassy has not started work.

I took me less than  one  month . After I made my Ameldung then I submitted all the documented they needed and now I have less than 3 weeks to go for the appointment. SO let's says I took me 3 month to do everything
