Hello
@Roger123,
welcome to the Wefugees community and thank you for sharing your question with us.
First of all, congratulations. Finishing an apprenticeship in German language is a real achievement!
There are some (quite restrained) chances for your wife and child to obtain a residence permit, but you should carefully weigh up your options. If you are granted an asylum status, you'll enjoy some benefits such as easier naturalization, no restriction to work with your current employer for the next two years and some more. If you withdraw the asylum application, there is no way back. If you want your wife and child to get a residence permit when you have finished your vocational training, you'll (and they'll) have to meet a lot of conditions like sufficient living space, sufficient earnings for three persons and so on. I would recommend you to ask your lawyer (if you have one) about the pros and cons of both options before you take a decision.
I hope my answers were useful for you and I'll be very pleased if you contact me again with further questions. I'm a member of the MBEON-staff and I‘ll be glad to guide over a longer period of time.
