Hello

I’m originally from South Korea

I’ve been living/ working in Poland for about 2 years (I have work permit residence card which valid until 2022) . After I got married with my polish husband. My husband found job opportunity in Germany and I’ve been staying here about 2 months now.

I’m trying to apply my residence card in Germany but here where I’m staying the immigration office isn’t friendly with foreigner, so I couldn’t get my documents done as fast as I wanted.

I’m still trying to get it done before my time goes (given time within 3 months)

But if I don’t get it done by given time that I have,

Do I have to go back to Poland and enter the Germany again? But the thing is there isn’t any boarder line between the countries.

Also I have asked government’s office in Germany, if I should go to Ukraina (non-eu) to just to prove that I was out of EU.

They told me that isn’t necessary.

But how would they know if I even went to Poland?

Please help! I’m so stressed with this circle system!

Dear Mrs. Minjiski,

thank you for searching answers in the community. I am a migration cuncelor and work for in a project called mbeon.

I must be honest, I am afraid that I can not give you a proper answer to your question, but I try to give you a tip.

First of all, you are married with a polish man un Poland. That means, that he is a citizen if a EU country. The easiest way to forget all your problems ks to go through the integration procedure in Poland, get the polish citizenship and through this procedure become a member of an EU country.

I know, it is easy said, but it costs time. But it is worth doing it. Than you can forget any stress regarding your status.

I hope I could help You a bit. If you have other questions which are more confidential, you can contact a councelor through an app mbeon. You can get it directly from the AppStore (https://apps.apple.***/de/app/mbeon-messengerberatung/id1408795643) or Google Play (https://play.google.***/store/apps/details?id=de.zone35.mbeon). It is free of charge.

I wish you all the best.

Kind regards.
