Why ausländerbehorde issued me one year grey passport instead of 10 years grey passport like the others?

Hello wefugees team, please  I was granted subsidiary Protection under para.25 abs. 2 .
The ausländerbehorde issued me one year resident permit card with one grey passport but my problem is, I know all the people who were granted subsidiary Protection under para.25 Abs 2 like mine was all issued  10 years grey passport but I don't know why mine own case is different.  We all received the same subsidiary Protection under the same Paragraph and Abs. But all of them were giving 10 years grey passport but I was only giving one year grey passport. Please is there anything I can do ? I really need help to know the way forward. Thanks

Thank you for sharing your question with the Wefugee Community!

As far as I know, and on this website it is also described (https://service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/325471/en/), the authorities will issue the grey passport according to your residence permit and it’s validity. So if your residence permit is valid for one year it’s also normal that the grey passport is valid for the same period (for now). So your friends with subsidiary protection might have been really lucky and maybe benefited from a lack of knowledge of the people issuing it ;-)
