Here you can ask, answer and find questions surrounding the topic: arriving in Germany
Hello experts,

I am having a problem as my first appeal in Germany, cologne city  have been rejected based on international protection in another country .

My question is can I appeal in a second basis (higher court) or even European court as I am feeling my human rights are being violated I am a transgender so basically taking Hormones treatment and in the county of pervious protection there is no health insurance and they don't recognize same sex marriage which why I left for these two reasons can I appeal to higher courts if so will the next appeals let me stay in Germany during the appeal ?

Thank you

Dear @Hopeless

Thank you for reaching out to the Wefugee Community!

Where exactly has your first appeal been rejected? Was it the BAMF or did you already go to the court? If you get a rejection from the BAMF you normally have time for either one or two weeks to take the case to the court. Please check the deadline on your "Bescheid". I am afraid that you had a deadline for one week, as based on your explanations I assume that your case is a "Dublin-Case". I would highly recommend you to seek individual legal advice to elaborate your options. You can apply for a "Beratungshilfeschein" at the local court (Amtsgericht), which would give you the opportunity to consult a lawyer for free.

Please feel free to get back to us with any further questions!

All the best,
