The standesamt  refused  to give me my baby birth  certificate,  after the registration of my  baby, and after me and the mother submitted  all the documents   to obtain  my baby birth certificate,  instead of issuing a birth certificate, he gave us  a birth  registration,Kindergeld forms, elterngeld forms and mutterschafgeld forms.I the father have permanent residence permit and Foreign office has already issued temporary residence permit to my girlfriend  after she submitted vaterschaftsanerkennung to the authorities. Standesamt took 11€ from us but didn't issue the certificate but rather birth registration. I dont understand why they demanding us to send our documents to german embassy in our home country for authentication/legalization before they issue my baby's birth certificate. Is it advisable to give the case to a lawyer to proceed to court since we both cant spend 650€ each for our documents authentication/legalization?
