Hello,

I have been living in Germany for 5 years and I recently asked the auslanderamt if I can apply for Niederlassungserlaubnis they say that I do qualify for it but they have to ask the BAMF first. So it has been 6 weeks and I have not heard back from them today I’ve been told I have to wait another 4 weeks. My question is how long does BAMF take to reply back?

Quick response with reference would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I’ve had my aufentaltstitel for 4 and half years, and been here for more than 5 and half years which also include my asylum procedure time.
