I want to know if you are paid when doing Ausbildung.  and also want to know what are some of the countries Germany is in bilateral relationship with in terms of deporting rejected asylum seekers without passport or any appropriate travelling doc.

To answer your questions :
  • Yes, Ausbildungen are paid in Germany; some more than others, in depends on the field
  • To my knowledge, the only country where nationals can be deported without a passport is Afghanistan (since the joint declaration of October 2016) ; this is the case when people refuse to apply for a travel document at the Embassy. However, the German authorities are in touch with Embassies of other countries and sometimes manage to get passports issued, even when the person of concern does not collaborate.
