As for your question first you could address the court and explain why you falied to appeal on time- they might be willing to give you a week to appeal if not you could apply a second time( Folgeantrag--> at the BAMF), you can do this in person urself or in assistance of a lawyer.
If the second case is rejected than you can appeal.
