Hi @Felixcitysnow

As you have had a residence permit for over 5 years, you can at any time apply for permanent residency (Niederlassungserlaubnis) in accordance with § 26 Abs. 4 Aufenthaltsgesetz. For this the main requirements are that you have been paying into the pension system for at least 60 months, are financially secure, speak B1 level of German and your identity has been confirmed. When assessing whether you are financially secure, the immigration office will **** at your past and current employment situation to see how likely it is that you will continue to be financially secure in the future.

Best,
