If we get our case refused and get Duldung. Can they delay our deportation because of these circumstances.  Also guide about the deportation procedure how they carry out a family deportation procedure that in practice how long can a person stay after getting a Duldung.

Dear @Zeshanbajwa,

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for your questions.

It is hardly possible for us (and wouldn't be serious) to make any predictions about your chance of getting deported (or when). Every case is different and needs to be assessed as a whole and on an individual base. Furthermore, we are no lawyers here and just share our experience and our research results.

However, I am afraid that diabetes type 2 might not be a very strong reason to prevent a deportation in general. For more details on the deportation procedure you may check Handbook Germany's website. Mental health issues (you were mentioning that your wife is suffering from depression) are also not easy to prove (better to say to prove that a deportation would be absolutely irresponsible in this regard) and the requirements are quite high. This still doesn't mean that you don't have a chance to stay in Germany - there are too many factors to consider.

I highly recommend you to get in contact with a refugee counselling office to discuss your options. There are many organisations in Germany offering free and confidential advice. You could use this search engine, for instance.

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to get back to us with any further questions.

All the best,

Meike
