It is difficult to assess the situation or better to say the reason why they refused to take your documents. If you feel that they are relavant for your case, I recommend to ask a refugee counselling office (a so-called "Asylverfahrensberatung/asylum procedure counselling" would be the best option) for support. Together you can discuss your individual case and send these documents to the BAMF to be added to your file, if necessary. You can use this search engine, for instance, to find a counselling office in your area.
