Hello, please am I a recognized asylum seeker in Germany if I have not done any biometric examinations and have not been issued any sort of ID like (Ankunftsnachweis und Aufenthaltsgestattung) I just got vaccinated against measles and did an x-ray? If I am not yet an asylum seeker, is it possible to end the asylum procedure now? and is it still possible if I want to apply  again in the future?

Hello dear @beebson,

thank you for sharing your question with the Wefugees Community.

No, you are no a recognized asylum seeker yet. Yes, you can take you asylum application back and in the future you can apply for it it if you have a good reason for it and a good justification, why you withdraw your application now.

However, if you want to stay in Germany after withdrawal of your asylum application, you must have an alternative possibility of staying in Germany. I mean an alternative visa or a residence permit for Germany. Otherwise, you will be deported from Germany.

I hope, you have got your answer. I am a MBEON consultant. If you wish to contact me directly, you can see my profile and follow the instructions there.

Best wishes
