Changing camp to Another State before the first Interview

Dear Sir/Madam,

I went to the Bochum Welcome centre on 26.06.2023 and living in the First camp in Bielafeld since registered. Still i didnt face the first interview.

Now i would like to move to Karlsruhe or Heidelburg Camp which looks asylum process are very fast and easy.

could you please advise me since im in the initial stage which i didnt face the interview and living in the camp how can i go for Karlsruhe or Heidelburg camp?

Is it possible that while having registered in Bielafeld camp can i go Karlsruhe camp(another state) for registering me again there?

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

I’m afraid that it’s not possible to chose or change the camp based on the fact that procedures may be more smooth or faster in another camp. Moving to another federal state (in your case from NRW to Baden-Württemberg) is even more difficult. The opposite, from my experience even close family members are often struggling to be (re-)transferred to the same accommodation. The so-called “Umverteilung” is only granted in very exceptional cases. My colleague gave some information on a similar question here before. 

To elaborate your individual situation you should get in touch with the social/counseling staff in your camp or in the next counseling office.
