You can apply for the renewal of your Passport with almost the same requirements, which you applied for it for the first time. Your must not have lost your refugee status and you must either have a residence card or must apply for it together with the application for the blue passport. In order to apply for your residence card, you need to fill in its application form.
You need to submit them the following documents as well:
- the filled in application form for this passport
- a current biometric photo of you
- your previous blue passport
- your registration Certificate (Meldebescheinigung)
It is worth mentioning that the Foreigners Office (Ausländerbehörde) may ask you for some more documents in order to process your application.
You should also pay them a certain amount of fee for the issuing of the passport for you, and if you also apply for the residence card, you should pay them a certain amount of fee for that as well.
