What is IHK?

"Sie beantragten die Verlängerung Ihrer Duldung. Es ist beabsichtigt das Dokument zu verlängern. Allerdings wurden Sie bereits aufgefordert Ihren Ausbildungsvertrag zur Prüfung Ihres Antrages zur Erteilung einer Ausbildungsduldung im Original mit Stempel der IHK bei Herrn Thiemann vorzulegen. Dies ist bisher nicht geschehen. Ich bitte Sie sich mit Herrn Thiemann in Verbindung zu setzen, damit Sie einen Termin zur Vorlage des Dokumentes vereinbaren können. An diesem Termin wird dann auch Ihre gebührenpflichtig verlängerte Duldung ausgehändigt werden können. Die Gebühr in Höhe von 33,- Euro (falls ein neuer Träger für das Dokument erstellt werden muss 37,- Euro)  kann dann von Ihnen in bar oder mit Karte entrichtet werden. Erst nach Einreichung des Vertrages kann über Ihren Antrag abschließend entschieden werden.''

So I received this E-mail from Ausländerbehörde!! I already applied for Duldung a lot earlier and even I received it. Then why the hell are they harassing me again for documents for assessing my case? I earlier submitted my training contract to Ausländerbehörde and they didn't even mention anything about IHK! Suddenly they remember it now. The Ausländerbehörde is a total headache and always finds way to harass me! Total nuisance seriously! I have to work for 12 days and now I should leave everything behind and run after foreigner's office. They won't have time normally to delegate our task, but they won't care if others are busy or not. Seriously!! I am fed up of them!

Hello again, dear Sidra,

IHK is the chamber of industry and commerce (Industrie- und Handelskammer). Your contract had been sent to the IHK before you started your apprenticeship, because the chambers have to confirm the contracts of all future trainees in the so called "dual system". So it automatically has the stamp of IHK, no worries.Just submit the contract.

I am actually pursuing my ausbildung as Pflegefachkraft. Should I still submit the contract directly or should I send it to Arzt Kammer or I don't need to send it?
