I have a valid residence permit in Germany until September this year (2022) as a student and I live here full time, but the situation in my country of origin is changing dramatically lately (anti-gay laws, huge economy crisis, new war conflict). Do I have any options to apply for asylum now as I consider it danger for me possibly getting back to my country of origin?

Dear @kleinbudda,

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

A very similar question was answered a few days ago by my colleague Fardeen. Please follow this link for more information on applying for asylum as student in Germany.

I hope this helps and please also don't hesitate to get back to us with any further questions.

All the best,
