Passport is for to deport those that are not into asylum anymore.  So u have to be careful , if they get your passport they will ask u to back to your country and apply a Visa to the German Embassy. So i can't give u any hope that u should submit your passport to them.  Try and see a lawyer
l submitted my passport and birth certificate the first day l went to holding camp. When you have genuine reasons to your case you will not fear anything.  One thing l know with ABH or Germany as a country honesty and clarity about your Identity is a big factor in many reasons to grant you documents. Never one day have l lack sleep because of that. Its mandatory you will need to submit to ABH if they grant you stay at some point. Simple as that.

Hello Chiefpriestgambino,
If your asylum application is finally rejected by the court, it's a normal procedure for Ausländerbehörde to request for your national passport.
This happen to all asylum seekers.
Now you only have to prove to them that you are unable to obtain your country passport with evidence .
If you fail to provide  your national passport or you fail to give any tangible reasons, that might create a whole lot of problems for you in the future.
For example they can ban you from working or drastically reduce your asylum benefits. So it's in your own interests to corporate.
Note not everyone who submit his or her passport are told to leave the country, everything depends on your case at BAMF or your responsible Ausländerbehörde.

Thanks.

Thanks
