Asylum procedure in Germany

Question

Hello, my fiance is from Yemen, he was granted with refugee status in Malaysia, however since Malaysia is not a member of UNHCR, he faced many limitations and went to Germany , he has applied for asylum in Germany and just finished his first interview last 2 weeks. May I know if he would be able to get asylum in Germany because he couldn't go back to Yemen due to the war and he is also unable to return to Malaysia because he overstayed his visa (prior his application for refugee). May I know how long will it normally takes to hear the result and to finish the whole process?  thank you so much :)

However, I am afraid that I am not able to provide much more information than in your last question:

Every asylum application is assessed individually by the BAMF and it would not be reliable or serious to make any predictions here. Something similar applies to any prediction regarding the duration of the whole asylum procedure. This is depending on many factors as country of origin or the respective conditions within the BAMF office responsible for your case. I read on this website though, that in 2020 the asylum process took 8,3 months in average. But this can vary significantly.
