Dear @Basselag,

thank you for sharing your question with the Wefugee Community!

You want to travel to Germany by plane (but you booked a transit flight) and then apply for asylum at the airport? Did I understand that correctly? Are you still living in Syria?

If you use one of the German airports to change planes, citizens of some countries must present a Airport transit visa, also known as an A visa. The visa allows the holder to stay at the airport for a maximum of 12 hours. But you are not allowed to leave the airport. Syrians usually need such a visa. But whether you need a visa depends on several factors.

It makes sense to inquire at the German visa application center, the German embassy or the German consulate in your country of residence to get more information.

You can read about the airport asylum using the following link.
