Hello

I want to know how many appeals “courts” dose an asylum seeker has ?

I am in administrative court now but if my first appeal have been rejected can I appeal or its final decision ?

If it was a final decision what are the possibilities for a solutions?

Thank you for reaching out to the Wefugees Community! 

As one of our legal experts Nilab explained on this platform earlier, there is in general the possibility to go “in Berufung” after the rejection of the appeal. Please see this thread for more details.

Depending on the case, a so-called Folgeantrag might be another option. Please check the link for more information on this.

However, and as you can also read on this Website of the Refugee Council in Lower Saxony, taking the case to the higher court is very difficult and you will definitely need a good lawyer. In most of the times, the decision on asylum is taken at the “Verwaltungsgericht”.
