I m in a relation with a refugee in denmark and he is 21y we have heard that he cant marry me because he is a refugee and he's under 24y i dont know if its that true or no please i need to know

Dear @Hafsa,

Thank you for sharing your question with the Wefugees Community.

I am not an expert on Danish law, but as I learned in my research, for example on this website, the minimum age to get married in Denmark is 18 years.

If I am not mistaken, this will be the case in most of European countries, as you are officially "adult" by that age.
