I am glad to hear that you found a home (paying the deposit back in installments is the normal procedure for people who get (additional) money/benefits from the authorities) and that you are working already under a permanent contract. Those are really big steps, I would say.
Regarding your appeal, it happens sometimes, that people wait for several years to receive a decision from the court.
However, I am not totally sure, what exactly you want to know or what your question is. Maybe you can reformulate it or clarify a bit more (which rights for example are you referring to?).
If you want to know about your legal and residence options, once you might have received a negative decision from the court, applying for the residence permit according to section 25b of the German Residence Act "Granting of residence in the case of lasting integration" could be an opportunity for you?!
