hello Wefugees team 

My wife is polish citizen and she live in Germany for more then 8 years and she have permanent resident here and she is not on job center she work and she paid all and everything what she supposed to pay and my question is what my wife need to apply for German passport what documents what is language test requirements do she need to pass any language or she can just apply for passport without no language test and what if her child is German our child have German citizenship by birth so this can make anything easy for her to take German passport without any language and if she need still any language test then what language test she must make it will be nice to hear from someone

She have to pass B1 test

Apart from being self independent,proof of German language is necessary. Therefore, your wife  needs to take the B1 German exam as well as the Naturalization test before applying for the citizenship.

As already mentioned, the B 1 test and the naturalization test are necessary for naturalization. It is also important, however, that as a citizen of an EU country, you do not have to be deprived of your previous citizenship.
