Hello how long can it take for me to get a final decision on my case?

Hello my name is Carlis. I was in Italy as a refugee with a different surname but the same first name . 6 months later I moved to Germany and decided to use my real name or my real surname as I seek for Asylum. Fortunately for me Along the way I met someone who is a German citizen and we had twins together and we did all the necessary documentations for me to get a residence. Few months later I went to the foreign for my residence and I was told they will ask for my police certificate so I have do come back in two weeks time . After the two weeks I went back and they brought up the name I was using in Italy. The foreign office therefore told me they will have to send a letter to the bamf about the different surname in Italy. My lawyer recieved a letter from the bamf 3 weeks later for me to come to a hearing alone which I just went and presented my passport and my birth certificate to them to prove my real identity to them as the name I am using in Germany. The officer as the bamf therefore told me obviously I’ll stay in Germany because of my kids even though my application for adult will be rejected. My question is how long will it take for me to get a residence permit??? Will the foreign office have to wait for the bamf to send a letter to them that my asyl has be closed?? I am tired of always getting duldung for 3 month.

As for your questions: 

1. My question is how long will it take for me to get a residence permit??? 

---> there is not a real time limit in law for such a case, but it can take upto 6 months as the Ausländerbehörde has more cases than usually to handle. 

2. Will the foreign office have to wait for the bamf to send a letter to them that my asyl has be closed?? 

--> Yes, the BAMF will send the Bescheid to the Ausländerbehörde and then they will send you an appointment. 

I know waiting is very hard in particular with a Duldung but there are procedures and you have to follow them.
