hey , i am almost 18 years old and i'm living currently in Saarbrucken waiting for the resident
i finished the 11th grade in syria but i only have the 9th grade certificate . i'm wondering how many years i have to go through in school till the university ? in another meaning what classes i have to study before i can go college ?

Hi MoazSh,
In Germany it's normal to go to school for 12-13 years to get your "Abitur". With this you can go to university. I think it depends on how fast you can learn German and the stuff for your "Abitur".
In the most schools you will start with the 10th grade, as everything from that point is relevant for your "Abitur".

hey Micro , thanks for answering , i really didnt catch up with the "Abitur" thing . lets skip the language , how many years from the 10th grade till the university ? thanks for helping
