Hello

I asked asylum in the Netherlands in July 2018, but had dublin France. France agreed to accept me in August 2018, from this date Dublin time began in the Netherlands.
But I left the Netherlands and asked asylum in Germany in March 2019, I had dublin France and left camp in October 2019. It's been 18 months now and I shouldn't have Dublin.

But during this 18 months, I am back to the Netherlands, they extended Dublin to 18 months, from August 2018 to February 2020 and in February 2020 transferred me to France.

Germany didn't transfer me to France during 18 months, if I ask asylum in Germany, will I have Dublin?

Dear @liza173, Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us. For me it is really complicated to understand your situation. But I will link our dear @alla_fka here, who is more knowledgable on the Dublin regulations than me. Maybe she can give more information or any advice. All the best, Meike

Hallo liza173,

as far as I understand, you are in France now or at least you were officially in France after your deportation from the Netherlands. Therefore, unfortunately, it doesn't matter any more, that the 18-month-time in Germany has been finished. If you come to Germany and make a new asylum application, Germany will make a new request to France as a responsible country to take you. And as France confirmed its responsibility taking you from the NL, they will, very probably, agree to take you from Germany too. After that there will be a new time frame for your deportation: first 6 months and, if you go illegal again, then 18 months. And if you make an appeal to the court with an urgent application against deportation, it can postpone the starting point of these 6/18 months until the date of a rejection in the court.

Thank you for your answer.
I hope that France will not agree to take me back.
Since France agreed to accept me from the Netherlands in 2018 , before applying for asylum in Germany. Only my transfer from the Netherlands to France was carried out later in 2020, after I applied for asylum in Germany.
So the last request was from Germany to France as a responsible country.
You can try. In Dublin cases nobody can be sure. But it looks like France stays responsible. And your first procedure in Germany will have no influence, they make the whole thing with the request anew.
Thank you very much for your quick response and the information! As always, much appreciated dear @alla_fka! Best, Meike
What procedure come into play after the expiration of a dublin transfer.
