I saw that you recently opened another thread in which you were referring to this post. As that one doesn't contain any further information, I will close it for now. I hope you understand that we try to keep an overview and information in one place.
I assume that you didn't get any response so far is, because nobody can really predict the amount of time an immigration office needs to assess residence permit applications. As far as I know, it is very much at the discretion of the immigration office IF they grant a residence permit as father of children holding a residence permit as well (as kind of only reason for the legal stay in Germany). Maybe it helps when you share the exact section of the law of the residence permit you are applying for.
In any case, from my experience two weeks is not a long time and you might need to be more patient.
