If as a non German, EU national, I am married to a non EU spouse trough a proxy marriage. Would such a marriage be able to be regarded as valid in Germany if I were to move and live in Germany with my wife, by use of the right of free movement in EU. I'm aware that there can be other factors which influence if a marriage would be regarded valid, however I'm interested in knowing if the sole fact that it is a proxy marriage would make it regarded differently than other marriages or require a larger burden of proof of a real marriage. And if there is a history of Germany recognizing such marriages.
