We have heard about schools where one can first learn the language and then start a trainee ship in areas like sewing, knitting, hair dressing, .... but we don't know how to find the address and go for registration. We have heard about one in Alexander Platz, but yet we have no address or number!

Arrivo Berlin offers 3 to 6 week Praktikums (internships) in the Handwerk, Industrie and Pflege sectors (Manual Trades, Service Industry and Nursing/Home Case). You have a selection of preparatory courses beforehand as well: German Language, an introductory course for handcraft, and a course in a specific trade.

Their requirements are B1 level of German and access to the job market.
