I hope this message finds you well. I am a German citizen who got married to a Pakistani citizen in Pakistan in 2021. We have been residing in the UAE for the past two years, where my spouse was born and raised. We've recently started our family, and I am currently six months pregnant.
We have all the necessary local attestations for our marriage, including those from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan and the UAE Embassy. Now, I am looking to register our marriage with the German authorities.
Given my current situation and the travel restrictions due to my pregnancy, I am wondering if there is a way to initiate the registration process remotely or locally here in the UAE. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or information on the steps I should take to ensure a smooth registration process while being in the UAE.
