Dear @Malcolm,
Welcome back to the Wefugees Community and thank you for your question.
We discussed a very similar one on this platform here before. Please check my colleague's answer for details. To withdraw an asylum application or not should be carefully ellaborated with a lawyer - every case is individual. However, as my colleague also explained, for the time being it probably would not give you much of an advantage to have an "Ausbildungsduldung" instead of an "Aufenthaltsgestattung", for instance. Usually, people apply for the Ausbildungsduldung (which is still not a residence permit) after their asylum application got rejected. The situation might be appear different as soon as some new laws on this will be implemented (the government wants to introduce an actual residence permit instead of the "Ausbildungsduldung" for this purpose). If I am informed correctly, however, they won't be in place before spring 2024. I recommend you to get some legal advice in the next months to assess your options.
All the best,
Meike
