Hello,
my question is a bit personal.
I was in Germany months ago, and I asked for political asylum for being unsecured and unsafe in my country. I stayed in Germany for almost 6 months; I received a reject for my asylum and they asked me to leave back to my country, which is what I did under my will.
now my question is that I am allowed to ask for asylum in another European country after a period of time or will I get the same reject or maybe they will send me to Germany as it was the country that has my fingerprint at the first time ??

NB: When I left Germany, they told me that I am still allowed to apply for a Schengen visa and they didn't put a ban on my name at any time.

Thank you so much for your reply. I don't know if the same rules apply if Germany is the country that rejected my asylum and asked me to leave.
Hello @hussein - broadly speaking the asylum system in the EU only allows you to apply for a visa only once. It doesn't matter in which country you applied.
@Marcel summarized the exeptions from this rule in the last paragraph of his answer that you can find through Jans link.
Best regards, Thorgen
