Hi Waseem =)

Good to see your question again =) Could you tell me more about this project your friend has? Does he want to open an official professional radio or is he looking for something more amateurish project to be shared in the form of podcast on the social media?

For this purpose I would suggest spreaker.com/ . I used it for a while a few years back and it's a good way to upload your podcast and then share them either with the Spreaker community or on the social media.

Let me know if this is what you were thinking about or not =) . But that could be a good idea. I'll be off the internet for a couple of days, but I'll read your comments about what exactly you are looking for as soon as I'm back. In the meanwhile there are many members of the community that will surely still help you out =)

Enjoy the holiday season!

Hello Waseem,

let me give you 2 links that will cover your basic questions. The texts are in German, so please use a translaton service like Google translate.

1. Non commercial broadacsting in Germany: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nich...

2. Founding a webradio: What you should know: helpster.de/radiosender-gr...

Finally a good starting point in German, made by young radio professionals: radio-machen.de

All the best and a happy new year!
Jan
