Opportunities with work experience and no german submitted by WefugeesEvent (Wefugees) in Work

I have studied and I work since 3 years in different positions. But I don’t speak german, yet. What are my opportunities? Do I have to speak german or english?

I think, there’s many opportunities in Munich and if you have a degree of course it opens a door more for you, especially in the field of business and marketing. One of the things that will really help you is the better you german is the easier entrance you will have. So I would say german. But it’s definitely possible for you to find a good job here.

I think also internships are a good opportunity for you to learn what kind of jobs are there. Also for the employers to get to know you. For example Capgemini, we have moref an IT and software developer focus but we also offer internships for business students. So you can see what’s job are available and then after an internship you have the opportunity to start a permanent employment. Employers often take on former interns for permanent positions.

So if your english is very good you maybe have also a chance to get a job, there are international companies in Germany as well. But you need one language, that you’re really good at to have a conversation. But of course it’s always helpful to learn german. For most of the german you will need the german language.
