im currently not on ausbildungsduldung, im on aufenthaltsgestattung but im doing my ausbildung. i just finished my ausbildungs first year and my teachers want me to repeat the semester because zwischenprüfung partner was incompetent in the exams and wouldnt let me practice with her and in studies and i couldnt learn well (im doing physiotherapy and she was actually kicked out of the school for being unreliable)
now on my aufenthaltsg. it says "ausbildung längstens bis 30.09.28" erlaubt. i started in 10.2025. can i tell ausländerbehörde that it will be lenghtened a bit? im not thrown out of the school or anything but is it banned to fail?

The law on resident permit 19d states, that after 2 years in the trained profession, one can get a work freedom permit into any job in the labor market in Germany without restriction .

Ich habe schon Aufenthaltsgestattung seit 15 Monate aber Online steht ess, dass es nicht möglich ist ohne Duldung. "Change of study program": Due to a study regulation, I have received letter from my university that they will exmatriculate me within one month. I have got admission in other university in a different course but the problem is, I am changing my degree program after 6 semesters. I’m an international student currently pursuing my Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Technische Universität Darmstadt. I’m facing an issue with my residence permit extension and would appreciate any advice or guidance.

Here’s my situation:

    •    I arrived in Germany late (after my 4th semester) due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and long processing times at the German Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
    •    I have completed 21 credits and 9 additional credits this semester, and I plan to complete 30 credits in the upcoming Winter semester 2024/25.
    •    The Ausländerbehörde has not explicitly asked for the Bestätigung der Bildungseinrichtung ( Document provides study prognosis), but I wanted to ensure all documentation was in order, so I requested it from my university.
    •    However, the document from my university has two sections unfilled:
    •    IIIa (whether my studies have been completed properly so far), which was marked as “K.A.” (Keine Angabe, meaning no information).
    •    IIIb, which requires a statement from my department.

I’m concerned that these unfilled sections might cause problems with my visa extension. My residence permit is set to expire on 24th October 2024, and I want to ensure I have all the necessary documentation.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with an incomplete Bestätigung der Bildungseinrichtung? How can I ensure that the Ausländerbehörde will accept the document, or is there any way to resolve this before my permit expires?

For the last two years, my son has been enrolled in the preparatory class at his school to study German. According to official recommendations, this preparatory phase should usually last one year. However, my son has now been in this preparatory status for two years, and we have just been informed that he will remain under the same conditions for a third year.

During the second year of the preparatory course, my son was partially integrated into a gymnasium, attending classes twice a week. However, he has not been allowed to fully transition into the regular school system. The decision to extend the preparatory course for a third year was made by the director of the gymnasium in cooperation with the Schulamt.

Based on our experience last year, I have the impression that the gymnasium management is not fully committed to successfully integrating my son into their school. Despite recommendations from his teachers and the principal from school that my son is ready to be fully integrated into a regular classroom and transition to the general education program, this has not happened.

All of my son's classmates have already received placements in regular schools, while my son remains in limbo. This is especially frustrating because, according to his teacher, my son is not behind in his studies; in fact, he is considered one of the best students in the class.

Making the situation even more complicated, the Schulamt has informed me that they will not assist in finding a place for my son in a regular school. I am confident that my son will not be able to stay in the gymnasium due to significant gaps in his knowledge caused by these delays. This essentially means that we are losing an entire year unnecessarily.

Additionally, my son is expected to be evaluated according to the school curriculum this year, despite not being able to attend all classes. This situation directly impacts his right to fair and equal education, which is guaranteed by laws.

What can I do when the Schulamt says the case is closed? How can I advocate for my son's right to equal education when my requests for assistance are being denied? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice on where to seek further support.

greetings dear fellas i got admission from univeristy for my master degree, the university for immatriculation asking M10 notification from insurance company which i am insured by AOK, i went to AOK and ask them to send that notification they said your insurance paid by stadt we can't send that notification you have to find a job with atleast 521 Eur per month, I did found a job but its student job requires immarticulation letter, which i won't have it until i submit that M10 notification.

my question is how can i tackle this problem i only have one month to send this notification.

After finishing my Ausbildung, I will also receive a Fachabitur and with this + my Ausbildung qualification I want to apply for a Duales Studium. My asylum is still in procedure and I am not thinking about withdrawing it during this time, but there is something that bothers me. What happens when my asylum application is rejected, apply for an Ausbildungsduldung/Aufenth 16g, then after finishing my Ausbildung will I be able to apply for a Duales Studium in the same field as my Ausbildung? It technically is employment in the same field as my Ausbildung. Or do I have to work in a fulltime job, or else I get deported? I couldnt find anything online about it.

Currently I go to a school, a vocational training school (Berufsschule) and I've done a lot of classes of just German and I can join Abitur/Fachabitur the next year or after the coming summer. The thing is I don't wanna do Abitur since it's 3 years and I'm 16 so my parents are worried I will be too late for university (we don't have good financial conditions) but I was thinking positively to do a Fachabitur and get into a university the thing is I heard it doesn't work all over Europe or Schengen so I'm worried I won't be able to get into universities I want. Whereas the third and most worst option is to go to India on November and give my final exams for High school Diploma (I can do that since I'm a citizen and we can claim homeschooling) but the thing is I never completed grade 11th last year since I had a lot going on family & interpersonal problems and within 4 or less than 4 months of notice, I need to give my final exams I would mess them up, so much to cover up plus I won't be able to score that good.

So what's your advice on my situation.

Agentur für Arbeit told me that they cant help me find an Ausbildung place because on my Aufenthaltsgestattung it says "can work, but only when auslander behörde allows it" and I know that I can only do that when I have a place already. Applying for places by myself dont help, because despite having an Abitur equivelant I cant pay for getting my diploma translated into German. Hi, Context: I am 18M and my origin is Pakistan but living in Middle East from childhood. I am right now in 12th class which is Higher Secondary School-II of Pre-engineering. I get good grades, like I got 91% in 10th.

Main topic: My father's been working in ME from 20yrs+ and now he can see that he reaching a age of retirement and ME government forces you to retire and go back to your homecountry. Sadly we don't have much in homecountry, we have to start from scratch.

Good day, I started asylum seeking last year with my mother and siblings and then I was still 17. Now we’ve been given the results and unfortunately it was rejected…for just my mother and siblings. I was excluded, anybody was told I’ll be doing another interview alone to determine my own results. I have erasmus student visa and i got admission as a full time student from my university ,also i am enrolled for next semester. Can i apply and extend for residence permit in Germany

Recognition of foreign certificates

I’m an unaccompanied 16 year old asylum seeker who has applied for asylum in Germany, I currently reside in passau In a Berufsschule. I’m finishing my first year in the Berufsschule in a week and I have to do another year with Praktikum.

My asylum case is still pending.

Before In Iraq I attended a British international school from grade 8-10 and before in a Turkish international school from grades 1-7.

My question is, how can I recognize my Schulabschluss and certificates from Iraq in Germany, does them being British international certificates matter? How long would it take for recognition ?Can I leave the Berufsschule and directly go into ausbuldung or Abitur?My case is incredibly complex .

Persuing Higher Education

Dear community,

Hope your all doing well. My question is that i want to continue my higher education here in Germany. Just to give you a bit of information about me am an asylum seeker who got his asylum rejected and waiting for a court appointment which could take more that two years. I am about to finish integration course and my first question is that can i continue a b2 course without getting my test result from bamf since it take’s at list 6 months to get it. Second question is if i full fill all the requirements to study at a university and during my studies if the court also rejects my asylum could i stay until i finish my studies. Their is a similar law for Ausbildung but i am not aware of any for university studies. Thirdly can i change cities for a study purposes. Thank you in advance.
