Firstly, do you have health insurance and if so, could it cover these costs?

Generally, a doctor is required to have the consent of the patient before a medical procedure. In cases where a person is intoxicated, it is not possible for them to give informed consent. In such cases, medical procedureas can only be done if the person is a danger to themselves.

This question has to do with medical law and is not an area we have expertise on. I recoemmend you call the independant patient helpline and ask them about it. They have certain times where they offer advice on the helpline in Arabic, Turkish and Russian.

Moving doesn't necessarily mean that you can't use your health insurance card anymore. If you have a new address, you must inform the health insurance company (aoK) When you make a change of address, it is best to ask if you can continue to use your card.

I am sorry to hear that your brother is struggling so much. Whether he is allowed to travel to his country of origin or not is depending on the type of residence permit he is holding. I would strongly recommend him to contact a refugee/migration counseling office in Ludwigshafen to discuss all these issues and questions. There are several organizations which offer free of charge and confidential advisory services. One of them is the Diakonie or the Caritas. You can follow the link for more details (in German though).

Кроме этого Гинеколог будет курировать вашу подругу, назначит ей по необходимости гормональную терапию, а так же даст направления на КТ МРТ и другие необходимые исследования, которые необходимы всем пациентам при прохождении терапии. Так же могу вам посоветовать попросить врача гинеколога написать анамнез (Befund) и поставить заявление на Schwerbehindertenausweis (инвалидность), которое даст вам скидки и другие возможности. Benefits of the German nursing care insurance are not paid abroad. However, there is an exception for Pflegegeld, which is paid when the person in need lives in another EU/EEA country or in Switzerland.

Medical treatment in Germany is available in the form of visits to doctors' practices (outpatient) and hospitals (inpatient). In the case of new medical problems or for the treatment of long-term illnesses, you should usually first visit a general practitioner (in the case of children, a practice for paediatrics and adolescent medicine). The doctor will then decide whether to refer you to specialists for further treatment or whether you should go to hospital. Any prescription medication you may need can be prescribed by the doctor. You must then present the prescription to a pharmacy and collect the medicine directly.If in some acute case (not life-threatening) you need to see a doctor outside normal opening hours, you can call the medical on-call service (call number 116 117). In an emergency, you can also go to the emergency outpatient department of a hospital. In the event of a life-threatening condition (for example, a suspected heart attack/stroke or a serious accident), you should alert the emergency services by dialling 112. If you are suffering from an acute illness or are in pain, you are entitled to benefits under Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz, the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act. Further benefits may also be granted where necessary in specific cases to safeguard your health. In addition, persons with a residence permit according to § 24 (1) AufenthG (Residence Act) and who have special needs, e.g. persons for with disabilities or who have suffered torture or severe forms of violence, receive medical assistance to the extent necessary (§ 6 (2) of the AsylbLG).

es gibt verschiedene Hilfsorganisation, die auch Medikamente in die Ukraine bringen. Die Spenden kommen dann z.B. von der Pharmaindustrie.

Krankenhäuser und Apotheken können eine Liste mit benötigten Medikamenten an solche Hilfsorganisationen schicken.

Dann wissen die Organisationen was genau benötigt wird und können helfen.

I'm happy to inform to every women that wish to have a baby by caesarean, probably you find some resistance in Sachsen, in this Federal state they have some prehistoric laws about the women's rigth and mostly of the doctor don't approve it. I come from America and there you can choose the way that you want to get birth your baby that's way was very difficult to me when they said that kind of stuff and some times it's more difficult beacuse the language if very difficult find someone that speak english here, so in a few words if you want and have the possiblitys to do it you can get birth your baby in the Federal state that you choose and in the hospital that you choose too, the peoples outside Sachsen see the life in a different way they see you like a person not like an inmigrant mostly of them off course not everybody is a good person like in every place in the planet. You only need your "Mutterpass" and your "Krankenkasse". I have my baby in Berlin and I only went there in 2 ocasion on time to enroll and make the all preoperative exams and the next time to the get birth my baby so good luck and don't care about what said the other people if you wish is something normal and reasonable do it!!!

The Sozialpsychiatrisches Zentrum Ratingen, the Caritas Office in Ratingen or the Psychosoziales Zentrum für Flüchtlinge in Düsseldorf. You find the contact details when following the respective links.

Welcome back to the Wefugees Community and thank you for your question.

First of all, I am sorry to hear about your medical issues. If you are holding a "Duldung" (temporary suspension of deportation), you are entitled to receive asylum seeker benefits ("Asylbewerberleistungen"). These benefits include necessary/urgent medical treatments as well. If you are receiving monthly financial benefits from the local "Sozialamt", for instance, and you don't have a health insurance card yet, please contact the Sozialamt. They may issue a paper (often called "Behandlungsschein") which you need to get a treatment. If you are working and not getting any support by the government, you are most probably insured through your employer and hold an insurance card, right? In case you are member of a health insurance anyway, just make an appointment at your (or any) general practitioner (Hausarzt oder Allgemeinmediziner) for a first check up. He/she will refer you to a specialist.

No! Your doctor is not allowed to forward your medical file or any information to the BAMF if you have not given him/her the permission to do so. Medical staff is required to work confidentially by law - even if people are considered as staying in Germany "illegally". Did this happen to you?

Have you had any type of health insurance in Germany before?

The procedure is simple. First, you should ask your Social Affairs Office (Sozialamt) if they pay for your AOK. They actually must pay for your health insurance in Germany. However, it is good to ask them beforehand. After that, you go with your residence permit (in your case Aufenthaltsgestattung) to one of the AOK Branches close to where you live and take from them a Statement of Membership (in German ''Mitgliedsbescheinigung'') for you and your family. You can also take your fotos with you in case they want to take them for your cards. Then you send a copy of this Mitgliedsbescheinigung to your Social Affairs Office. Your Social Affairs Office will then contact the AOK and then send them regularly the money for your AOK insurance. You will then receive a letter from the AOK to bring them or send them your fotos (if they haven't already taken them from you) for your AOK cards and sign for them for your AOK cards. After all this, you will then receive your AOK cards by post in your address.

The share of the cost covered by the health insurance fund depends primarily on your health insurance fund and the private or statutory insurance. The type of treatment also plays a major role.
We have compiled an overview of the costs of the individual artificial insemination treatments for you. You should also find out from your insurance which costs the health insurance fund will cover.

Legal conditions for cost coverage in Germany

Whether the costs for a planned child are covered, depends – among other things – on some of the legal framework conditions. To find out which conditions apply to your health insurance fund, please contact the appropriate health insurance fund. Examples of these conditions include the following:

The partners must be married.
The woman must be between 25 and 39 years old.
The man should not be older than 49 years.

Therefore, I would recommend you to get in touch with your individual health insurance in order to discuss the details.

Syrian cerebral palsy cases

Dears’ wefugees,

I'm khaled tesbahji from Syria have a Lebanese nationality.

Unfortunately nobody is ignorant of the situation here in Syria also in Lebanon (The least that can be said is that we are in the midst of a civil war) specially if you have two cases of cerebral palsy in one family... The first is female and is 35 years old and the second is male about 25 years old.

The both of them hasn't been ever treating under any circumstances (all efforts were limited to personal efforts made within the family and in a very simple and primitive way)

These two cases are my older sister and younger brother... All over 35 years we had been trying to guarantee them the best livelihood. But as a family living in Syria the best you can do is still a life.

We don't ask for any donation or any money, we just ask for help to clear the process for transition and living stability in any country which provides the suitable treatment for the above cases according to the regular rules, also - if that possible - support us in achieving that moving smoothly.

actually what we are seeking for is organizations or Entities could support us to move in new country which offer more stable live and more appropriate live to provide treatment for the pre-mentioned cases in order to preserve their lives and a guarantee to provide a decent and suitable life for them

Remark: Any required verification documents or proofs can be provided upon request

Remark: we have two persons - at least - who are able to work in the family... a male has an IT and business administration degree + marketing and project management experience and female has an IT degree and teaching experience

It is documented either in the organ donor card, which you already have, or in your living will, which can be notarized. But you should take the costs into account. As far as blood donation is concerned, you are already registered with the organization where you donate blood. The reason that asylum seekers need a tax number is simply that every person who lives in Germany is subject to taxation, even new born babies. they both have the same qualifications. If you need an expert opinion for the BAMF, you can ask any medical doctor who is familiar with you medical history. Prices for a medical clearance can vary between 20,- and 120,- €, depending on the content.

Here are the minimum legal and regulatory requirements for a medical clearance (you can show this list to your doctor):

1. The title must be: "Ärztliches Attest zur Vorlage bei Gericht"

2. Precise diagnosis with a labeling of the degree of severrity of your disease (e.g. chronic, acute, adaption disorder)

3. Date of the beginning of the treatment, number of consultations/surgeries so far

4. On what basis the diagnosis was made?

5. Method of fact finding

6. Description of traumatic events and credibility of your report

7. Concise descriptionof your disease, symptoms (Intrusions, flashbacks, depression, aggression. amnesia, hypermesia etc.)

8. Confirmation of psychic (or other) disorders via methods of diagnosis, medical results

9. treatment neediness of the disease(s)

10. Medication and kinds of therapies so far

11. Degree of risk you condition will deteriote if you're sent back to your country (for example risk of additional traumatization, risk of suicidality)

12. Therapy and medication schedules

13. Prognosis

14. Probable effects of an end/withhold of the treatment for the patient

15. (Where appropriate) a justification, why the disease wasn't reported earlier.

All the points must be included. Point 15 is crucial and leads to rejections, so hopefully the disease has been recorded in your BAMF-file before.

Thank you for sharing your situation with the Wefugees Community!

I am not familiar with the health system for refugees in Sachsen, but I called a migration counselling office in Leipzig to get some more information. They told me, that nowadays you unfortunately need to be in the asylum procedure for at least 18 months to receive an insurance card (the 15 months you were mentioning seem to be outdated).

Making some further research, I found a contract between the local authorities in Sachsen and the "Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Sachsen (KZVS)", which is kind of a union of doctors in Sachsen. According to section 3 of this contract (§3), if a dental treatment is urgently needed, asylum-seekers can choose between in the KZVS registered dentists with "orientation to the residential restrictions of asylum-seekers". Considering these phrases and the fact, that the health systems for refugees vary in Germany's federal states, I am afraid that you will get problems if you want to get a treatment outside of your "Landkreis" in which you are registered.

I would highly recommend you to see a doctor in Sachsen as soon as possible. I hope this helps and please feel free to get back to us with any further questions.

Let's have a **** at your case and questions separately:

You have applied for asylum in Italy and have been rejected
You have a chronic illness but lack the necessary medical support
You would like to move to Germany

I found a few sources that might be helpful in your case.

1. Regarding your first question, I found this website: ****://w2eu.info/italy.en/articles/italy-asylum.en.html

Since you received a rejection, here's information on what you can do from the link above:

"5.10 What if you receive a denial (diniego)?

If your application for international protection is declined and you receive a denial by the territorial Commission, you can contact a lawyer to appeal to the Court. The court which hears your appeal is the one located in the capital of the District of the Court of appeal in which the territorial Commission is established or the SPAR if you are in such a centre. From the date of refusal by the Commission, you have 30 days to file an appeal, upon expiry of which you no longer have the right to stay in Italy legally.

If you are in a “CIE” or “CARA” you have 15 days to file an appeal.

Please refer to the operators of your reception centre or at the organisations close to where you are (see contacts) to find a lawyer to take your appeal. You can ask an Italian State aid called "legal aid" i.e.. the possibility to appeal against the refusal free of charge if you have an income less than approximately 11,000 euro."

2. Concerning your chronic illness, it is definitely important to take action to prevent any further harm to you. When I was researching health care in Italy for asylum seekers, I found this: ****://***.asylumineurope.org/reports/country/italy/reception-conditions/health-care

As it states on the website, asylum seekers must sign up with the National Health Service, but you have the same right to health care as Italian citizens. Since the right to health is considered a fundamental human right in Italy, "[Asylum seekers] enjoy equal treatment and full equality of rights and obligations with Italian citizens regarding the mandatory contributory assistance provided by the National Health Service in Italy."

The only thing I'm unsure about is what that means for you as an asylum seeker who has been rejected. However, the PDF guide might help to get some answers. There will be a Local Health Authority (they call it ASL) in your area that you can contact as well.

3. Regarding moving to Germany: Since the Dublin III Regulations, you have to apply for asylum in the first EU-country that you arrive in. Meaning - if you do come to Germany, you might be send back to Italy, as Italy would be recognized as the first country (since you applied for asylum there). Italy would therefore be considered responsible for your asylum case. Usually the doctor, who is taking care of the treatment has to answer those questions, therefore I do not understand why the doctor cannot answer those questions. If you tell me which city you are looking for a doctor I can do some research, but be adviced that your girlfriend has to first go for treatment to the doctor and only then he/she will be able to write something for the Ausländerbehörde. There are websites where you can search for all kinds of doctors in Germany. Here is an example for Lower Saxony:

You have to set the filters to "Fachgebiet = Innere Medizin" and "Ort = Osnabrück". Tick the box that says "Kassenpraxen".

You will get a list of all internists in Osnabrück. You can click on "Details" to get contact information and to find out which languages they speak.

hi there,
about 3 months ago i claimed asylum in Luxembourg, but now i want to move to Germany to treat possible cancer.
When i did the Medical examination here in Luxembourg, which is mandatory to all asylum seekers...they did an x ray to me, there something wrong came up, and ordered me to do a Thorax Scanner....there showed 4 Nodules on my Lungs (Multiple Pulmonary Nodules)....this is very likely to be cancer....but here is a small country and i feel that even for getting a diagnosis its going to take a Long Time...
I ve been researching and it seems that in Germany are good in Diagnosing cancer and treating it as well.
Can anybody shed some light on this please.
