Applying for citizenship as extra ordinary intergrated

Hallo
My friend applied for German citizenship and he was told he can naturalise in 6 years if he is well intergrated.
What is well integrated and what can you show to prove you are well intergrated?

In the case of special integration services, the period can be reduced to six years. This can e.g. be the case if particularly good knowledge of German is proven or if there is a long-term voluntary commitment to a non-profit organization or an association. The naturalization authority has a certain amount of leeway in deciding whether special integration services are available.
