Hello. I have a question regarding to Dublin procedure.

I will enter Germany with a schengen visa issued by France. Germany will be my first visit to the EU. And this will be my first asylum application.

I will apply for an asylum in Germany. Who will handle my application? Germany or France?

Thank you.

Dear @Talya, thank you for sharing your question with us. As France has issued your visa they are responsible for the asylum claim. If you have further question please feel free to address them in the community. Best regards, Nilab

if Germany reject my asylum application and they decide to send me back to France, can i appeal that decision? is there any change for me to stay in Germany? the reason i am asking questions about Germany, as a transgender asylum seeker, my options are limited.
Is there any possible ways to make sure that he/she is staying in Germany and not France?
