Here you can ask, answer and find questions surrounding the topic: arriving in Germany

Our asylum request was rejected last year, but we appealed to the courts right away. As of now we are still waiting for a court date or any result regarding our appeal. During this time my husband has found a job. I don't know what else we could do. We are already living normally here in Germany, and we're hoping for a positive result. Is there any hope for us?

To be honest, I'm feeling a bit hopeless. Some friends have told us that the process will take longer, meaning we'll wait longer. We submitted our appeal around late November or early December 2017. So up until now, no news from the lawyer or the courts.

We really don't want to go home. The Philippines is going down the drain.

Hello @someoneingermany

Is there a concrete question you need an answer for or a problem we can help you with? Please keep in mind the answer that I provided in your other thread:
