Hello @David123

Nice to hear from you again!

I'm sorry to tell you that it's basically impossible to marry without any documents.

To marry in Italy both of you need to provide a valid passport, a certificate of birth and a certificate of no impediment. It's not sufficient if only your fiancé hands them in. If you can't provide these documents, there is no way for the registry office to check your identity and to review whether you are eligible to get married or not.

Thanks but I mean I have all docements for the marriageneral including my Nigeria passport but I don't have italy document as a refugee. Is it possible to marry her in italy ?
@David123 - ok, thanks for clarifying the situation. If you are an acknowledged refugee then you are allowed to travel visa-free to most European countries (including Italy) and you can get married there. Not being registered as a refugee in Italy doesn't matter in this case. But if I remember correctly from another question that you asked, your application got rejected in Germany, right? Under these circumstances it’s not that easy because you can’t travel to Italy legally. Best regards, Thorgen
